In the classroom, I was always able to see what each of my students needed, but no teacher can devote the necessary amount of time to every student every day. I started to wonder if there was a better way to help, and focusing on students in a one-on-one or small group setting immediately seemed to be the right path. Just like that, Reroute was born!

Learners feel most confident when they have the tools to help themselves succeed. When assignments are piling up and you think you're the only one in your class who doesn't get it... school can feel like a nightmare. Trust me, I've been there. Let's maintain a stress-free environment so you can make the connections that will help you to actually enjoy learning.

Regardless of the concept, communication is key. Verbalize what you find confusing. Pinpoint the exact moment something stops making sense. Naming your obstacle is the first step in breaking through it. I can help you to change your mindset. It just takes patience, practice, and determination.

I've been a classroom teacher and tutor since 2004, when I received my Master's Degree in Education from Texas State University. I'm a professional musician, I love cooking, standup comedy, movies, travel, I have approximately four zillion houseplants, and a cat named Murph. Also, that's not my boat in the picture...I just couldn't pass up the photo op. 📸
